What is Netflix?
Netflix is a service that allows you to watch an unlimited number of movies, series, and documentaries on your TV, mobile devices, and game consoles. It is updated with new releases almost every day.
Netflix is originally an American company, and is now available to over 50 million subscribers in over 40 countries. In addition to the existing offer, Netflix develops its own series called Netflix Originals, such as House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, and Hemlock Grove.
How does Netflix work?
Once you have subscribed to Netflix, you can instantly view its full content on your TV, tablet, or computer. Using your keyboard or remote, you can browse through the offer with a wide range of categories. Additionally, Netflix will make suggestions based on your viewing habits. For instance, if you primarily watch action movies, Netflix will give you suggestions from that genre.
Switching devices while watching a movie is simple. For instance, you could start watching a movie on your TV, pause it at any point, and continue watching from that point on your iPad in bed.
What if your partner wants to watch something else? No problem, the standard subscription allows for watching different movies on up to two separate devices simultaneously.
What devices are suitable for watching Netflix?
In addition to your (Smart)TV, PC, or MAC, you can also view all of Netflix's content on PlayStation, XBox, Wii, iPad, and Android devices.
How much does Netflix cost?
The regular subscription fee is currently 8.99 Euro per month. If HD quality is not a requirement for you, there is also a cheaper SD subscription available. If simultaneous streaming on two devices is not enough for the whole family to enjoy Netflix, a more expensive subscription that allows for using Netflix on up to 4 devices is also available.
